This is the first time I learned how to use tiers for a cake. I love them! Very easy to manage. The roses here are made out of fondant and I loved making them even though it took some time to get all of them done.

About a year and a half ago I took on cake decorating as a way to escape from the grading and lesson planning that had become my life. Now, I have officially left teaching and work for an amazing artist at her cake studio. It has been a year of trial and error and a lot of changes.
